BET Awards

One of my favorite award shows of the year is BET Awards. And luckily this year’s show did not disappoint! Here are some of my picks for the best performances of the night. And let’s just say that the ladies RULED!

Cardi B & Offset opened the show with their latest hits "Press" and "Clout". Energetic show where we can see Offset’s dancing skills too!

Lizzo and her unapologetic performance of her hit song “Truth Hurts” was dripping of attitude and talent! Definitely a must see!

H.E.R. performed a new version of her song “Lord Is Coming” and was joined onstage by rapper YBN Cordae. A powerful performance about culture, faith and current issues. This gave me goosebumps!

All Hail Queen of Hip Hop Soul: Mary J. Blige! She performed a 20-minute medley of her hit songs! You can also see Lil Kim and Method Man joining her onstage! MJB was also awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award during the show.

Like I said, Ladies Ruled!
